Customer Services Representative - Auckland


Recognised as one of the market leaders in IT distribution, we are a global billion dollar company that specialises in time and place broad based distribution.

Synnex partners with some of the leading IT brand name products including AMD, Asus, Gigabyte, Intel and Western Digital to name a few. Due to the company's continued growth, we are seeking talented individuals to join our sales team working as a Customer Services Representative, located in Auckland. This position will report to the Country Manager. You will be relied upon to answer customer phone calls and emails, process customer orders, provide advice and give customers great service.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
  • Processing customer orders and advising them of current company specials and promotions
  • Updating customers with back order product arrival information
  • Taking customer phone calls and handling them in a professional manner
Key pre-requisites for this position include:
  • Minimum of two years experience in a similar role.
  • A degree within an IT field would be highly regarded.
  • Strong business development skills and acumen.
  • Ability to proactively identify and develop business opportunities in the current & new market segments.
  • Ability to target prospective customers and develop relationships at a senior level.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales results within a service industry environment.
  • A strong presence and presentation skills with excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to consult with clients, identify their needs and provide a tailor-made solution.
To be successful in this role you must:
  • Be results focused
  • Have good technical understanding of IT products
  • Be able to build long standing relationships with new and existing clients
Salary will commensurate on experience and incentives will be paid on achieved targets.

Business Development Representative - Auckland

Due to the company's continued growth, we are seeking talented individuals to join our marketing department working as Business Development Representative, located in Auckland. This position will report to the Country Manager, you will be relied upon to:

Look after some key existing accounts:

  • Initiate new business within the North Island
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
Key pre-requisites for this position include:
  • Minimum of two years experience in a similar role.
  • A degree within an IT field would be highly regarded.
  • Strong business development skills and acumen.
  • Ability to proactively identify and develop business opportunities in the current & new market segments.
  • Ability to target prospective customers and develop relationships at a senior level.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales results within a service industry environment.
  • A strong presence and presentation skills with excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to consult with clients, identify their needs and provide a tailor-made solution.
  • A current driver's license and own vehicle is essential.
To be successful in this role you must:
  • Be results focused;
  • Have highly polished relationship building skills;
  • Be able to build long standing relationships with new and existing businesses; and
  • Have experience in dealing with third party relationships, sourcing new business across broad market sectors and retaining and building an existing client base.
Salary will commensurate on experience and incentives will be paid on achieved targets.
