Arthur has been with Synnex Australia since 2000, and has headed up the Sales Division as Sales Director since 2010.
During this period, Arthur has initiated several pivotal initiatives aimed at fostering strong customer relationships, streamlining the Sales organisational structure to focus on customer-oriented strategies, and adapting to evolving customer needs.
Arthur has been an integral part in driving the growth of the commercial, consumer, and cloud business.
He has also been a driving force in promoting a positive cultural change and effective communication within the company, leading to a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
General Manager - New Zealand Operations
Darren has held numerous positions with increasing responsibility during his tenure with Synnex Australia since 1999. He has a wide range of experience in sales, product development and marketing. He is primarily responsible for promoting and increasing Synnex Australia’s growing presence in the IT distribution market within Australia. Prior to his tenure with Synnex Australia, Darren worked at Dual Technologies for over 6 years working in various roles including Business Development Manager.
Matthew joined Synnex New Zealand as Finance Manager in August 2005. He received his MBA from McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, concentrating in Finance and Marketing. Prior to his MBA study, he had held various management positions with Chinchun Motor (a former joint venture of Volkswagen AG) in Taiwan as the Purchasing Section Manager and Assistant Manager of the President’s Office.
Sales and Marketing Manager
Johnson joined Synnex New Zealand in 2010 as a Product Manager, where he managed both Channel focused and National Retail focused brands, as well as creating and facilitating relationship with key resellers in all areas of ICT. Johnson brings years of procurement, sales and marketing experience and has been instrumental in the growth of several key brands. Johnson is recognised as a key contributor in the sustained revenue growth of Synnex New Zealand. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Auckland.

Chris has over 20 years of proven IT experience and plays a critical role in leading the Synnex sales teams to expand existing partner portfolios and onboarding new partners. His priority is to enable sales teams to successfully deliver greater value to business partners - understanding what channel partners are looking for, identifying the market opportunities, and closing the gaps between customer expectations and reality. Chris previously held senior leadership roles in Samsung New Zealand and UK, managing a portfolio of Mobile, AV and Print solutions. Chris has also held roles at HP Australia and UK, managing accounts like Dixons, Amazon and Harvey Norman and Microsoft, New Zealand.
